surcharge has been added to the cost of each ticket bought through
ticketing agent SISTIC since the beginning of December 2000. According to
SISTIC business development manager Kenneth TAN, the new service fee was
implemented to cover the rising costs of operating the business. SISTIC is
owned by the Singapore Indoor Stadium, which is under the umbrella of the
Singapore Sports Council.
