Certain older browser versions are incapable of stepping up to 128-bit encryption, but with SGC technology these end users are automatically stepped up to 128 bit encryption. Certain Windows 2000 operating systems also will not step customers up to 128 bit encryption unless the end user has installed Microsoft's High Encryption Pack (HEP) or Service pack 2 for Windows 2000.
