We have been notified (on the date in brackets) that the following websites have been closed down. We have listed these closed-down websites here, where they will remain in our history books, in tribute to the efforts put in by their founders and owners in setting them up. Let the spirit of entrepreneurship strive.

     

  AsiaStockWatch.com  is a free financial portal that provides real-time price quotes, charts, watch lists, forums and portfolio tracking. Offers limited research. 

  d-finder.com is a one-stop source of information on discounts and other special promotions available in Singapore. (11 Dec 2000)

  daimaru.com.sg  is the Web site Daimaru Singapore's department store. The store closed in Singapore at the end of March 2003. (Daimaru closes its doors in Singapore)

  singseek.com  A local search engine.

  Sintercom.org The Singapore Internet Community or Sintercom website at sintercom.org closed down last night. Its founder Dr TAN Chong kee, 38, a manager in a property firm said, "From now on, it's about career and making money." (Straits Times 22 Aug 2001)(H4)

  Vivamusic.com  One of Singapore's first online distributors of MP3 music, Vivamusic.com, has closed. A petition, filed by Epilogue Catering which is owed S$200,000 by the multi-media music distributor, for the company to be wound up has been ordered. Vivamusic was set up in 1998 to sell digital music files over the Internet. (Straits Times 5 Jan 2002)(H17)
