Raymond Han has launched his debut novel. Published on 5 October 2009, Mystery of the Battle Box is partly set in Greendale Secondary School where he taught English Language in 2008. Other places used in the setting are Hougang housing estate where he currently lives, Fort Canning Park where the adventure took place, and shopping centres such as Compasspoint, Punggol Plaza, Plaza Singapura and VivoCity.
