  The Land Transport Authority (LTA) yesterday said it had changed the rules to allow motorists to change their existing licence plate number. All they need do is place a minimum bid of S$1,000 for the number and pay S$300 for each replacement. Previously, motorists could only bid for a new number if they were switching to a new vehicle.
