Local dance theatre company Crow Jane is
presenting its latest collaborative project, GHOST, at The Arts
House from 22 - 24 Jul 2005. |

Ghost is an interdisciplinary performance
project by collaborators of various disciplines. This site-specific work
is set in The Living Room at The Arts House, to a scenario of a
different dimension; bringing the audience into a surrealistic world
inhabited by the residual energies of departed beings. |

GHOST teases the senses of the audience
through sight, sound, smell and touch, and the eventual enchantment of
the sweet lullaby of this other dimension. |

We ponder, ˇ°Are they just like us, but only
in a separate dimension?ˇ± And perhaps that place is a more beautiful
world to be inˇ |
|
GHOST paints a surrealistic portrait of the
departed. Popular conventions create a stereotype of the departed
through myth, exaggeration and superstitionˇ |
