Penal Code (Amendment) Act (Commencement) Notification 2008 published on 28 January 2008 - amendments in operation from 1 Feb 2008
 
The Penal Code (Amendment) Bill was passed by Parliament on 23 Oct 2007.
The President has given his assent to the Bill. The Penal Code Amendments will come into force on 1 Feb 2008.
