   Chocolate lovers will no doubt be happy to know that the Choco-Loco Festival is on till the end of this month. Today, from noon to 7pm, at the Outdoor Event Plaza (Outside Orchard Point) in Orchard Road, you get to enter a giant balloon filled with delectable treasures for 5 minutes. All you have to do to qualify is to purchase something at H2O Zone. Chocolates of different kinds lie hidden upon heaps of balloons. Find them and they are yours for keeps.

   If you miss the event, don't fret, for on Saturday 22 Apr 2000, from 8pm to 11pm, at the same place, you can enjoy a Choco-Loco Party in the great outdoors hosted by DJs from Radio Heart 91.3FM. The first 100 participants will get a specially designed chocolate bunny each. Watch out for their advertisement in The Straits Times on 22 Apr 2000 for more details.

   This festival is organised by H2O Zone in conjunction with the Singapore Food Festival.

Singapore shares will take a hit when the markets open tomorrow, dragged down by the Firday collapse of US stock prices, but analysts and fund managers are confident there will not be a bloodbath.

NTUC Income is giving a special bonus averaging about S$290 a  person to its more than half a million life policyholders. The payout, totalling S$153 million, is made possible by the huge gains it had made last year, said NTUC deputy secretary-general Matthias Yao last night.
