Title: Untitled
Form: Picture Cards & Jigsaw Cube Game
Medium: Digital Print on Art Card, Wood
Size: Booklet B5 closed ; Cubes 30.6 x 20.4cm whole
Programme: BA (Hons) Interior Design
Statement:
Done in an unusual format in order to encourage an
active involvement of the person viewing the travelogue, this
collection of images will intrigue the person¡¯s cognitive
experience. The travelogue is being presented in the format of a
cube game. To me, travelling to UK is like a game, you will not know
what is going to happen during the trip or how the place will be
like. It is like a puzzle, you will need to fix it piece by piece to
get the picture right.
As memorable as the images are to me, when one
¡®plays and flip¡¯ the cubes¡these are transgressed into the
participants who will be experiencing a sort of exploration through
images.
Captured are the wonderful and interesting
buildings, unpredictable weather and fun-loving people and culture
that are experienced on the trip.
I prefer people to have a hands-on interactive
experience on my travelogue rather than reading it page by page.
Every piece of the picture card is a new and fun experience for me,
and I hope it is just as refreshing and exciting for the visitors.
