Carnival is almost upon us once again! Our annual arts Carnival for children
aged 4 - 12 will be kick-starting the June holidays at the end of May.

Join
us as we once again bring together local artists and children in a 4 day
event, that will feature more than 12 exciting art workshops and fringe
activities all day long!

This
year, be inspired by the cosmic mystery of Vee
Bee 12 – a new planet just found beyond our solar system! Such a
discovery makes us question how much we really know about our universe. What
is this new planet like, so very far away? And if we didn’t know about this,
what about what lies beyond it…?

Sculpture
Square invites visitors to its Carnival this year to imagine what might be out
there… that hasn’t been discovered yet – giant space monsters, aliens
life forms, intricate spaceships with cool unseen designs and abilities? Or
something no one has ever seen before? So
show us what you think may be out there at this year’s Sculpture
Carnival 2004: Beyond Vee Bee 12!

Our workshops
are specially organised to encourage children to freely explore the various
materials and art techniques being taught by our local artists, to design and
create their very own unique piece of artwork.
Artworks can be submitted at the end of the workshops for public display at
our annual Children's Sculpture Exhibition in September (subject to a
selection process).
